We have been supplying northern Indiana and southern Michigan since 1982.
Our industry has grown and changed greatly and we have grown along with
it. We started with one kind of floss and three counts of fabric. Now we
carry fibers from a dozen different companies (at least!) and fabrics from
6ct. to 40ct.

Our entire staff is friendly, enthusiastic and
addicted to counted cross stitch. We do our best to provide you with all
that you need whether you are a brand new stitcher or an expert. We don't
mind special orders - if you don't find something that you need listed
in our catalog section just email or call and we will be happy to order
it for you.
We would love to have you visit our shop
in person. We are easy to find and very accessible from I-94 or I-80/90.
See the map (click to enlarge) below or follow the easy directions. We
are halfway between Chicago and Notre Dame so there are many other things
to do in our area.
From the LaPorte I-94 exit take
highway 35 south to LaPorte all the way to the courthouse (red limestone
with clock tower - you can't miss it) and turn right (west) on Highway
2 (Lincolnway). After you turn we will be just before the third stop light.
We are on the right hand (north) side of the street.
From the LaPorte exit of I-80/90
take Highway 39 south to LaPorte all the way to the court house. Turn right
as described above.
From South Bend take Highway 2
west into LaPorte. Highway 2 is Lincolnway in the downtown area. After
you pass the courthouse we will be just before the third stop light. We
are on the right hand (north) side of the street.
From Valparaiso take Highway 2
east to LaPorte. We are just past the fourth stoplight when you get to
LaPorte. Turn left at the first street (Oregon) past the fourth stoplight.
(There is a Wallen Auto service center on the right.) You won't be able
to see us until you turn - we'll be on your left.
Do plan to visit us the next time you are in our area. It's fun to
web-shop but it's even more fun to shop in person so you can feel the fabrics,
fibers and embellishments. We look forward to meeting you soon.
